PLEASE READ REGARDING OLD HICKORY CUSTOM MAPLE BATS:

All custom orders for maple bats placed on and after January 1, 2010, will have the pro ink dot applied to the handle.  Starting with the 2009 season, all pro level maple bats were required to have an ink dot at the 12" mark of the handle.  The ink dot shows the direction of the slope of the grain allowing the straightness of the grains to be measured in each bat. 

In addition, per pro requirements, the Old Hickory label and all engraving will be rotated 90 degrees on the bat. 

This will further ensure that your Old Hickory bat continues to be the best bat available, for players at any level.
